Description

This rainbow flower burst hex tile is one of the most visually arresting pieces in the entire collection — and that’s saying something. The hexagon is packed edge to edge with hand-drawn flower mandalas in every color imaginable: orange, red, pink, purple, blue, teal, green, black, and white, each one a tight sunflower-like bloom with a bold circular center and layers of fine petal detail radiating outward. No two flowers are exactly the same color combination. No space is left unfilled. The overall effect is somewhere between a field of wildflowers and a stained glass window — dense, vibrant, and completely alive.

This is original artwork by Bridget Koonce, and the sheer repetition here is staggering in the best way. Each individual bloom is its own small act of careful drawing — center dot, inner ring, petal layer, outer ring — repeated dozens of times across the hexagon in a rotating cast of color combinations that keeps the eye moving and discovering. It’s meditative to look at in the same way it must have been meditative to make: one flower, then another, then another, until the whole surface is singing.

The rainbow palette gives it an energy that works in spaces that welcome joy and color without apology — a child’s room, a playroom, a creative studio, a living room that likes to make a statement. This tile is UV printed on 1/8″ Baltic birch wood for a warm, natural finish that makes the colors pop. The back is engraved with the HexWallTiles website. It comes as a standalone tile — you can use sticky tack to apply it directly to your wall, or pair it with one of our hexagon frames for a more finished look. Frames, necklaces, and all other hexagon accessories are sold separately.
