Description

This black and white snowflake floral hex tile flips the usual script — instead of dark ink on white, here intricate white floral forms float across a bold black ground, giving the whole composition a dramatic, almost photographic negative quality that stops you in your tracks. Six detailed henna-style blooms are scattered across the hexagon, each one built from layered petals, spiral centers, and fine botanical detail. Between them, feathery branch-like marks and dot clusters fill the black space, creating a surface that feels like frost on a dark winter window.

This is original artwork by Bridget Koonce, and the inverted color approach is a master class in contrast. The result is simultaneously bold and delicate, graphic and intricate. It makes a particularly striking winter or holiday tile without leaning on any obvious seasonal imagery — the snowflake quality is suggested rather than stated, which keeps it feeling elegant rather than themed.

This tile is UV printed on 1/8″ Baltic birch wood for a warm, natural finish that makes the colors pop. The back is engraved with the HexWallTiles website. It comes as a standalone tile — you can use sticky tack to apply it directly to your wall, or pair it with one of our hexagon frames for a more finished look. Frames, necklaces, and all other hexagon accessories are sold separately.
