This blue and green dot mandala hex tile is one of the most technically extraordinary pieces Bridget Koonce has ever made — and looking at it, you feel that immediately. The outer border alone is a marvel: thousands of individually placed dots and tiny circles in black, teal, and green building a dense, textured field that wraps the entire hexagon like something between pointillist painting and Aboriginal dot art. Inside it, a wide ring of lime green radiating lines fans outward from the center like sunbeams. Then a deep cobalt blue circle filled with a bold eight-pointed star form, its points alternating between geometric black dot-work sections and vivid green triangles. And at the very center, a delicate flower of life pattern rendered in careful fine line work, its petals layered and hatched with meditative precision.

This is original artwork by Bridget Koonce, and it represents her at her most ambitious and her most patient — simultaneously. The dot work in the outer border is staggering in its density and consistency, the kind of mark-making that requires both technical skill and genuine meditative commitment. This tile is UV printed on 1/8″ Baltic birch wood for a warm, natural finish that makes the colors pop. The back is engraved with the HexWallTiles website. It comes as a standalone tile — you can use sticky tack to apply it directly to your wall, or pair it with one of our hexagon frames for a more finished look. Frames, necklaces, and all other hexagon accessories are sold separately.
