Description

A soft-feathered dove perches on a berry-laden branch at the center of a golden medallion, its warm buff and lavender plumage rendered in careful, luminous detail. Clusters of vivid red berries and bright green leaves frame the bird on both sides, and behind it all a breathtaking mountain landscape unfolds: snow-capped peaks rising into a golden sunset sky, the whole scene glowing with the particular warmth of a day ending well.

The surrounding hexagon fills with pale aqua blue stained glass in irregular fractured panels, giving the piece the quality of light coming through an actual leaded window — cool and atmospheric at the edges, warm and radiant at the center.
