Description

This campfire in the woods hex tile captures the exact moment a campsite starts to feel like home. A pink and gold fire glows at the base of the trees, an A-frame tent waits just beside it with its weathered, speckled fabric catching the light, and overhead a forest canopy bursts into color in blue, red, yellow, and gold.

This is original artwork by Bridget Koonce, and it’s a signature piece from the Hobby Collection, where henna patterning isn’t decoration, it’s structure. The leaves, the canopy, the texture of the whole forest are all built from layered henna motifs rather than painted on top of them, so the trees themselves are made of the same linework Bridget’s been refining for over a decade. The tree trunks cut straight down through that color, giving your eye a place to rest before it wanders back up into the pattern.

This tile is UV printed on 1/8″ Baltic birch wood for a warm, natural finish that makes the colors pop. The back is engraved with the HexWallTiles website. It comes as a standalone tile, you can use sticky tack to apply it directly to your wall, or pair it with one of our hexagon frames for a more finished look. Frames, necklaces, and all other hexagon accessories are sold separately.
