Description

This lake life hex tile captures that particular kind of peace that only happens on the water — no notifications, no agenda, just you, a canoe, and a lake that looks like it was designed by someone who really loves henna. Because it was. The scene is rendered from directly overhead: a warm, henna-patterned wooden canoe cutting through the center of a vast mandala lake, with two sets of spiral ripples spinning outward from each paddle tip like the water itself is drawing.

This is original artwork by Bridget Koonce, and the whole composition is built around a single visual idea: the lake as mandala. Concentric rings of teal and aqua henna patterning radiate out from the canoe in every direction, each band packed with its own dot work, florals, and interlocking geometry. The effect is meditative before you even realize what you’re looking at. The canoe sits warm and brown against all that cool blue-green, its surface filled with the same flowing linework, and the small paddler at the center grounds the whole piece in something human and familiar.

It’s the kind of tile that earns a long look. Hang it and watch your guests tilt their heads before they smile.

This tile is UV printed on 1/8″ Baltic birch wood for a warm, natural finish that makes the colors pop. The back is engraved with the HexWallTiles website. It comes as a standalone tile, you can use sticky tack to apply it directly to your wall, or pair it with one of our hexagon frames for a more finished look.
