This blue abstract hex tile is an original artwork by Anders Koonce — one of our most personal and beloved designs. Bold, expressive, and full of energy, it brings a burst of color and creativity to any wall. Available in four sizes so you can mix, match, and build a display that is completely your own.

Anders is the young artist behind this design and the inspiration behind much of what HexWallTiles is all about. He wanted to help make his mom Bridget’s dream a reality, and he threw himself into it with everything he had. He was excited every step of the way — watching the design come together, seeing it printed, holding the finished tile in his hands. On the night his first tile came off the press, he snuck out of bed, gave Bridget a hug, turned to the printer and asked “are you printing MY tile?” His whole face lit up when she said yes. He is a great kiddo — and a pretty great artist too.

This tile is UV printed on 1/8″ Baltic birch wood for a warm, natural finish that makes the colors pop. The back is engraved with the HexWallTiles website. It comes as a standalone tile — you can use sticky tack to apply it directly to your wall, or pair it with one of our hexagon frames for a more finished look. Frames, necklaces, and all other hexagon accessories are sold separately.

Made in small batches from natural materials here in Springfield, Missouri. Please allow for slight variation between tiles — that’s part of what makes each one unique and handmade.
