Description

This red and green holiday mandala hex tile is Christmas on a wall — and it earns that description without a single snowflake or reindeer in sight. Six ornate mandala fans radiate from the center in the most classic color combination in holiday decorating, each one packed with hand-drawn detail: radiating lines, scroll borders, dot work, and tiny floral centers rendered in bold red and green on white. A bold green outer border filled with red spirals frames the whole composition.

This is original artwork by Bridget Koonce, and the restraint of using just two colors makes the complexity of the line work even more impressive. The red and green together create an immediate emotional response — warmth, celebration, the particular coziness of the holiday season — while the mandala structure gives the piece a timeless quality that keeps it from feeling like a decoration you pack away in January.

This tile is UV printed on 1/8″ Baltic birch wood for a warm, natural finish that makes the colors pop. The back is engraved with the HexWallTiles website. It comes as a standalone tile — you can use sticky tack to apply it directly to your wall, or pair it with one of our hexagon frames for a more finished look. Frames, necklaces, and all other hexagon accessories are sold separately.
