Green Botanical Garden

Description

This green botanical garden hex tile is a little meadow on your wall — and it’s one of the most purely delightful pieces in the entire collection. Dozens of hand-drawn stems rise from the bottom of the hexagon, each one topped with something different: a spiral rose, a daisy, a lotus bud, a heart, a starburst, a simple leaf, a swirling ball of petals. No two plants are alike. The whole composition is drawn in a single fresh green, which gives it a clean, graphic quality while still feeling completely organic and alive.

This is original artwork by Bridget Koonce, and the single-color approach here is a masterstroke. By limiting the palette to one vivid green on white, the variety of the botanical forms gets to do all the work — and there’s an enormous amount of variety packed into this piece. The composition grows from the bottom and fades at the top with open white space above — giving the piece a sense of upward growth and possibility.

This tile is UV printed on 1/8″ Baltic birch wood for a warm, natural finish that makes the colors pop. The back is engraved with the HexWallTiles website. It comes as a standalone tile — you can use sticky tack to apply it directly to your wall, or pair it with one of our hexagon frames for a more finished look. Frames, necklaces, and all other hexagon accessories are sold separately.
