Description

This black and white botanical circles hex tile is one of those pieces that reveals itself slowly — and every new look finds something you missed before. Seven open circles float across a densely packed ground of hand-drawn leaves and tiny botanicals, each circle ringed with a delicate beaded border and holding a single small sprig at its center. The contrast between the busy, ink-filled background and the clean white breathing space inside each circle is deeply satisfying — like windows cut into a garden wall.

This is original artwork by Bridget Koonce, and the sheer volume of mark-making here is staggering in the best way. Every leaf in that background is individually drawn, every dot placed by hand. The result feels less like illustration and more like something grown — a living surface that just happened to take the shape of a hexagon.

This tile is UV printed on 1/8″ Baltic birch wood for a warm, natural finish that makes the colors pop. The back is engraved with the HexWallTiles website. It comes as a standalone tile — you can use sticky tack to apply it directly to your wall, or pair it with one of our hexagon frames for a more finished look. Frames, necklaces, and all other hexagon accessories are sold separately.
